Traditional Northwest Native American design is a highly developed visual language, which David Neel has mastered during his 35-year career as a First Nations artist. His grandmother, Ellen Neel, is recognized as the first Northwest Native Indian artist to use silk screen printing as an artistic media. David follows the tradition of his ancestors, in creating limited editions prints depicting the animal symbols from the ancient legends.
